About one of the job I hired John for: I was moving about 10 miles from town to another. After contracting, John, he had reached out to me twice before the day of the job (once the week before to go over expectations, timeline, etc) and again the day before to confirm. On the day of the move, John was a few minutes early and was ready to get to work. He was able to move all of my possessions in the course of 4 hours (including a washer, dryer, and an antique turn of the century solid mahogany dinning room set). Thought out the entire move, John treated my personal possessions as they were his own: with the upmost care and security.
In closing, it is obvious that The Bear is a true professional who delivers nothing less then high-quality service for a reasonable price. It's no wonder he has nothing but glowing recommendations! I built a concrete wall with Mr. Maintanis during the summer of 2009. The project took 7 Sunday afternoons to complete. I hired John to work with myself and three others. His rates were very reasonable and his work ethic was second to none.
Although he is not a professional mason, he was more than willing to take instruction, initiative and do his share of the many laborious tasks involved.
John was always on site ready to work 5-10 minutes before start time. I would absolutely do business with John again and I have already and will continue to refer him to friends and family.
